Encompassed by the stunning sparkling Aegean with a multitude of beaches you can submerge yourself into a timeless haze of pleasurable repetition. There is no airport on the island, however there are various easy ways to arrive:
Olympic and Sky Express Airlines fly from Athens to Paros several times as day. During the summer months Ferries from Athens to Paros operate twice a day, ferries from Mykonos operate daily.
A fifteen minute taxi ride from the airport or from Parikia, the port of Paros, will take you to the small port of Pounda, from there, a slipper ferry to Antiparos takes approximately ten minutes and runs every thirty minutes.
Then for a more luxurious mode of travel a helicopter can be arranged from Athens Airport directly to the island.
JUNE
The ideal month, it is a little warmer but still cool enough in the evenings to wear a light sweater or shawl. This is the month when the island begins to come to life.
JULY
The holiday month begins, more people arrive on the island, some of the beaches become busier and life in the village opens up to continue later into the night.
AUGUST
The height of the season, the island is vibrant with local and foreign holiday makers. Hot and dry with plenty of activities taking place in the village during the evenings.
SEPTEMBER
The season continues with a calmer atmosphere as the holiday makers disperse. The weather is glorious and life in the village becomes more serene.
